Students of the American Sign Language classes at University of Louisville decided (Fall '97) to start up an association to promote ASL at U of L. Cardinal American Sign Language Association (C.A.S.L.A.) is the name of our organization and we hope to have guest speaks come in to teach us more about the Deaf Community; career opportunities; service opportunities; social events; and learning through interacting with students of varied experience levels within the Modern Languages Program for ASL.
